About Contrive Engineering

Who we are
Contrive Engineering Ltd is an electrical and systems engineering consultancy based in Warwick, Warwickshire, serving the West Midlands. We bring years of experience on major programmes to clients who need high-quality, cost-effective engineering for innovative projects.
We adapt quickly to new teams, sites and working practices. We welcome challenging projects and take responsibility for safety, quality, schedule and cost, supporting our clients through every phase of the project.
We keep our commitments and we are honest about our capabilities: we tell you what we can and cannot do.
What we do
Our principal area of expertise is electrical engineering. Alongside the services on this site, we provide pre-project support — mainly building services, machine maintenance and new electrical facilities — and contract engineers for short or long-term needs.
If your project needs something not listed here, contact us: we may still be able to help, or point you to someone who can.

Why clients work with us
During our careers our engineers have worked in aviation, automotive, defence, rail and marine for organisations including Airbus, General Dynamics, Jaguar Land Rover, Talgo, Caterpillar, Harland & Wolff and GE Aviation.
We are not a large company, and that is our advantage: you work directly with senior engineers who are committed to your project, without layers of management in between.
Our track record and how we work
Contrive Engineering was founded in 2018 and today works with clients in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and commissioning.
Every project is led personally by Rafael Díaz Moya, an electrical engineer with more than 22 years’ experience on programmes for Airbus, GE Aviation, Jaguar Land Rover, Wrightbus and Harland & Wolff. When a work package needs extra capacity, we bring in trusted specialist engineers from our network.
You always work directly with the engineer responsible for your project. We can deliver complete work packages — from schematics and harness design to mechanical components and documentation — or join your team on contract.
